# Launch Film Builder

> Build a launch story from first hook to final frame.

Category: Creative · Status: in-use-at-ekos · Price: free (MIT) · Output: Launch film (MP4)

Every launch film Ekos made, as nine recipes with the real source code: a documentary collage teaser, a founder explainer, an a16z-style manifesto cut from archival footage, an assistant reveal, a talking 3D mascot promo, a silent site film, a vertical product reel, feature loops and a kinetic statement launch. It writes the script, voices it and renders each format locally.

## Use it when
- Launches on X, LinkedIn and Product Hunt.
- Founders with demos they never edit.

## Do not use it for
- Long explainers.
- Live action filming.

## Input
Product demo and launch brief

## What it produces
A script, a Remotion project, and mastered films in every format you need.

- A hook-first script, voiced and timed to the word.
- A talking 3D character you can restyle.
- Mastered 16:9 and 9:16 films you can edit.

## What it needs
Node.js, ffmpeg and Python (local); the bundled template installs Remotion. Optional: ElevenLabs API for the voice (a stand-in voice works for drafts).

Bring your own API keys. Ekos never asks for, receives or stores them.
