Install guide
Two minutes, then ask for the work.
Every skill is free in the open-source GitHub repository. Each folder contains a SKILL.md that your agent reads when a task matches.
Shortcut: paste this into your agent and it does the rest.
Read https://github.com/Ekos-Labs/skills, clone the repository, install the Ekos skills, then read my website and help me pick the right skill first. Ask before using any paid API.Claude Code
For every project on your machine:
git clone https://github.com/Ekos-Labs/skills.git ~/.ekos-skills
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
cp -R ~/.ekos-skills/skills/* ~/.claude/skills/For one project only, copy the selected skill into .claude/skills/ at the project root instead. Start a new session and run /skills to check it is listed, then ask for the job, for example “Run a distribution report for acme.dev”.
Codex
git clone https://github.com/Ekos-Labs/skills.git ~/.ekos-skills
mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills
cp -R ~/.ekos-skills/skills/* ~/.agents/skills/For one repository only, copy the selected skill into .agents/skills/ at the repository root. Start a new Codex session, then ask for the job or call the skill by name, for example $product-context.
Other agents
Ekos skills use the open Agent Skills format: a folder with SKILL.md and optional references/ and scripts/. Any agent that supports it loads them from its skills folder. Without skills support, paste SKILL.md as instructions at the start of the task.
Keys and tools
Each skill lists what it needs under “Execution mode”. Skills that call an outside service read your own key from an environment variable:
export FIRECRAWL_API_KEY="your-key"Put it in ~/.zshrc or your agent's environment settings. Never paste keys into the chat. Ekos never sees, receives or stores your keys.
Check that it works
Try Product Context first: “Read my website and create a sourced product context file. Mark anything unknown instead of guessing.” If the agent can't find the skill, check the folder name, that SKILL.md sits directly inside it, and that you started the agent after copying the folder.
Updating
Pull the latest repository and copy the skill folders over the installed versions. Your own edits get replaced, so fork the repository or keep a copy if you changed anything.
git -C ~/.ekos-skills pull
cp -R ~/.ekos-skills/skills/* ~/.claude/skills/ # or ~/.agents/skills/Where to start
Product Context first: most other skills read the product-context.md it writes. Then AI CMO Router to pick what to run next.
